This happened in March of 2010. I was playing in a tourney and my table was mixed with half soft players and half aggressive players. The female player to my left was very new to the game and never raised unless she had a high pocket pair.
The night before this tourney I was watching a re-run of the WSOP where the episode of "The Nuts" talked about pulling off bluffs. While I was playing I was thinking about that and Chris Ferguson saying that the one thing needed to pull off a great bluff is a very bad hand.
While thinking about this I looked down at 7 2 while in the SB, I got over 11 to 1 to call the BB to see the flop and I knew that the chance of the lady to my left raising was basicly zero.
The flop came out K K 9. I checked and it was checked around with 7 players in the hand. The turn was another K and I decided to test the waters and bet out 1,000 into a 1,200 pot. Everyone folded to the player on the button. He tanked for about 2-3 minutes and said out loud that he thought I slow played a high pocket pair preflop. He looked at his hand and I peaked at it, he held 8 9 o/s for a Full House, he then folded and I flipped over my hand!
I was so happy that I actually pulled off a bluff with the worst hand in Poker and not only that but I made a player lay down a Full House! I will never forget it!
